My name is Kevin, I am paraplegic since 2012 after a car accident.
For my first journey as a disabled person, I decided to go to Australia on my own, for 2 months. I had just
These emotions allowed me to evolve, to find my goal and to realise that, despite the wheelchair, a lot of possibilities and
projects were available to me. No need to go to the end of the world to experience these sensations, the key is to dare!
Unfortunately, I often came up against a lack of information about the accessibility of some destinations. Indeed, once you leave the big tourist cities, there is nothing. Without this information, the
preparation of trips becomes endless, complicated, even impossible… This greatly reduces the range of possibilities!
This is why I have created the Wheelchair on the road association, which aims at facilitating and encouraging the mobility of people who have diKculties to move (people with disabilities, seniors, …).
